KCMET is asking for applications for its annual MAITS Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship in order to encourage and support students from low-income households who desire to seek a job-oriented Diploma course from identified Government Polytechnic Institutes in India. A scholarship award of Rs. 10,000/- per annum is given to 550 students every year for a maximum period of 3 years.

KCMET- The K. C. Mahindra Education Trust has been functioning since 1953 to make a difference in the lives of thousands of students by providing various scholarships. KCMET is asking for applications for its annual MAITS Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship in order to encourage and support students from low-income households who desire to seek a job-oriented Diploma course from identified Government Polytechnic Institutes in India. A scholarship award of Rs. 10,000/- per annum is given to 550 students every year for a maximum period of 3 years.



In order to be eligible, the candidate should have passed SSC/HSC or equivalent examinations in the 10th or 12th standard with more than 60% marks. The candidate should have ensured admission to a government or any other prominent Polytechnic Institute for a diploma course. This scholarship will only be offered to candidates enrolling for the first year of their course.



The documents required for the application and application form are available on the KCMET website. Shortlisted applicants will be notified of the interview date and venue in advance.



KCMET- The K. C. Mahindra Education Trust has been rewarding this scholarship to learners since 1995. To date, 11,290 students have been granted this scholarship across India. A superior preference is given to girls, children of armed forces personnel, children from lower income group families, and differently-abled children while awarding the scholarship.



MAITS recipients have moved on to win over hardships and chart a new course in their lives. Today MAITS awardees are in established standings in various occupations like Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc.
