Under 'March to Million' initiative, Microsoft and NASSCOM have set the target to train 30 thousand youths in AI (Artificial Intelligence) from Telangana in partnership with two other educational organizations, TASK (Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge) and TSCHE (Telangana State Council of Higher Education).



The aim of the initiative is to skill 01 million youths in Artificial Intelligence by 2021.



The program will be introducing the concepts of AI (Artificial Intelligence), Data Science, and Machine Learning which will help candidates to upskill their resumes as per the current industries' requirement. The fresh batch will be starting from November 23.



The program will include a combination of self-learning modules, live demos, hands-on workshops, and digital classes led by experts from NASSCOM and Microsoft. Following this, an assignment will be given to candidates and finally a certificate from Microsoft and NASSCOM, as notified by the CEO of TASK Shrikant Sinha. The students from any stream are eligible to apply for the program.



The 'March to Million' initiative is a forward step to create a talent pool having AI skills in Telangana that, in turn, will reinforce the IT environment across the state, as mentioned by the IT Department.
