PM Modi Distributes 70,000 Appointment Letters to Recruits under Rozgar Mela Initiative Today
Prime Minister will distribute these appointment letters under the initiative- Rozgar Mela. Today, the Rozgar Mela will be carried out in 43 different locations. The recruitments would happen across Central government departments and state governments or union territories supporting this initiative.

The officials from Prime Minister's office said Prime Minister Narendra Modi would distribute about 70,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits on June 13 at 10:30 am through video conferencing. He will also address these selectees at the event.



Prime Minister will distribute these appointment letters under the initiative- Rozgar Mela. Today, the Rozgar Mela will be carried out in 43 different locations. The recruitments would happen across Central government departments and state governments or union territories supporting this initiative.



The recruits, chosen from across the nation, will be joining the diverse government departments, including:




  • Department of Financial Services

  • Department of Posts

  • Department of School Education

  • Department of Higher Education

  • Ministry of Defence

  • Department of Revenue

  • Ministry of Health and Family Welfare

  • Department of Atomic Energy

  • Ministry of Railways

  • Department of Audit and Accounts

  • Department of Atomic Energy

  • Ministry of Home Affairs, among others.



The statement said the Rozgar Mela initiative is a measure towards fulfilling the commitment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to accord the highest preference to employment generation. It stated that the Rozgar Mela expects to serve as a catalyst in further employment generation and deliver significant career opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development. The newly placed appointees will also get a chance to train themselves via Karmayogi Prarambh, an online module on the iGOT Karmayogi portal, where over 400 e-learning programmes have been made obtainable for 'anywhere, any device' learning format.
