Reliance Foundation Selected 5,000 Undergraduate Students for 2022-23 Scholarships
According to the official notice, out of the selected candidates, 51% are female students. Also, 99 students selected for this scholarship programme are students with disability. The selected students are from 4,984 higher education institutions across the nation.

The reliance foundation has appointed 5,000 first-year UG students for the reliance foundation scholarship for the academic session 2022-23. The chosen students will get Rs 2 lakh during their study programme. The foundation was founded the previous year to deliver 50,000 scholarships over the next ten years. Candidates can check their results on the official website- reliancefoundation.org.
The reliance foundation acquired around 40,000 applications nationwide, of which 5,000 were selected. The selected applicants are from 27 states and union territories (UT). According to the official notice, out of the selected candidates, 51% are female students. Also, 99 students selected for this scholarship programme are students with disability. The selected students are from 4,984 higher education institutions across the nation.
The scholarships are provided on merit-cum-means basis to students. The candidate can seek any stream or domain of study. The selection procedure included an aptitude test and marks secured in Class XII. The selected students will receive information about the scholarship programme details from the reliance foundation directly.
Jagannatha Kumar, CEO of reliance foundation, said this is a mixed group of scholars as they are from differing domains of study, from nearly all the states and union territories of India, and with women and men being equally portrayed.
Apart from this, the reliance foundation will also declare the result of scholarships for PG students. According to the official statement, the outcome of reliance foundation PG students will be notified in July.
The reliance foundation will also ask applications for undergraduate scholarship programmes for the academic session 2023-2024 in the forthcoming months.
