Reliance Foundation To Launch New School & Give Benefits To Children, says Isha Ambani
Isha Ambani said they welcomed the first batch of 120 students last month for postgraduate programmes in various categories such as Artificial Intelligence, Digital Marketing, and Data Science. She added this year Reliance would scale up its efforts to support Early Childhood Care and Education to aid millions of children, especially from unprivileged areas.

Isha Ambani was announced as the leader of the retail business Reliance Foundation and was also briefed about the plans of Reliance Foundation, RIL group's non-profit organization, directed by her mother, Nita Ambani. On Monday, at the RIL annual general meeting, the NGO, founded by Reliance Industries Limited chairman Mukesh Ambani in 2010, announced the launch of Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School.



In an address to shareholders during the RIL AGM, Isha Ambani stated she would like to share Reliance Foundation's influence and plans. She added that under the leadership of her mother- Nita Ambani, Reliance Foundation held a range of activities in addition to our comprehensive COVID-19 relief initiatives. She also shared that the Mumbai-based Jio Foundation had commenced its first academic session in 2022. Jio Institute is a multi-disciplinary higher education institution set up as a philanthropic initiative by Reliance Industries Limited and Reliance Foundation.

She also reported about the Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School as an evolution of Dhirubhai Ambani International School. She added this year Reliance would scale up its efforts to support Early Childhood Care and Education to aid millions of children, especially from unprivileged areas. Isha Ambani also informed that Reliance Foundation is collaborating with International organizations in order to address learning losses in foundational literacy and numeracy among children due to the COVID-19 pandemic.



Reliance Foundation has helped more than 63 million people across 60,000 villages and urban areas in India. In Rural modification, they have helped over 14.5 million people earn better livelihoods and lead better lives. The NGO is collaborating with global and Indian organizations to empower 10 lakh women entrepreneurs in rural communities in three years and create new solutions for digital inclusion for more than three lakh women.



Isha Ambai also stated that through the Education and Sports for all programme of the Reliance Foundation, 21.5 million children and youth in India have profited so far. Reliance Foundation has also collaborated with the Indian Olympic Association to support their athletes at the Olympic Games, Asian Games, National Games, and Commonwealth Games. She expressed her excitement about the partnership and said they will be hosting the first-ever India House at the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics. This will be a golden opportunity to showcase India's tremendous potential, aspiration, and talent to the Olympic world. At the end of her statement, she said that they are working on a 10-year blueprint that will build their Foundation more impactful.
