University of Delhi Launched Financial Support Scheme for Economically Weak Students

Delhi University (DU) has launched a Financial Support Scheme for students belonging to economically weaker backgrounds and has registered in full-time undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at the university. Interested and eligible students can apply for the scheme at the official website — https://shortest.link/dufss.
In order to apply for the scheme, candidates need to fill out an application form that is available online that will require them to enter their details, course, college details, and contact information.
The last date to apply for the Financial Support Scheme is 4 pm on December 12. Students must fill out and submit the completed application forms to the varsity.
According to the official notice by the University of Delhi (DU), students whose family annual income is less than Rs 4 lakh will get up to 100% of fee ease. Students whose family income is between Rs 4 and 8 lakh will get a fee waiver of 50%.
To apply for the fee relaxations, candidates must submit a list of documents with their application forms.
The documents required are: Marksheet of the last exam passed, ITR of parents, wherever applicable, copies of bonafide student in Degree/Post Graduate degree course, hard copies of fee receipt noting the amount under different heads separately, annual family income certificate for the previous financial year in the standard issue by Tehsildar or equivalent qualified authority and per the committee’s access, copy of bank pass showing the student’s name Account number, IFSC code and passport size photograph pasted at the appropriate place.
