The Nalam Naadi app addresses a critical gap in the education system by establishing a dedicated database for students with learning disabilities. This data becomes the foundation for crafting tailored curricula that meet the unique needs of these students.

An official from the department emphasized the need for a centralized database for special children due to the challenging responsibilities of school teachers. The app is positioned as a solution to efficiently address and cater to the specific educational requirements of these students.

In line with the app launch, Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi initiated Direct Debit Transfer (DBT) for students at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Residential Schools. This initiative encourages female students to pursue higher education by providing ?200 per month directly credited to their bank accounts to minimize delays.

Furthermore, the Education Department introduced a dedicated grievance redressal portal for teachers in government-aided schools. This portal serves as a platform for teachers to register and address any complaints, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
