The Ministry of Science and Technology announces the commencement of applications for the DBT-Research Associateship Programme. This program, dedicated to post-doctoral research in Biotechnology and Life Sciences, beckons qualified candidates to seize this unique opportunity. Eligibility Criteria




  • Candidates must possess a PhD degree in Science or Engineering.

  • Alternatively, candidates with an MD/MS degree in any medical field are eligible.

  • A strong research inclination in the fields of Biotechnology and Life Sciences is essential.

  • Applicants are expected to demonstrate a commendable academic track record.

  • The upper age limit is 40 years for male candidates, while the female candidates have an upper age limit of 45 years as of the application deadline.



Individuals currently employed, whether in permanent or contractual roles, are actively encouraged to apply. However, successful candidates must gracefully transition into a full-time commitment with the fellowship, resigning from their current employment.
