The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal is seeking a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for its research project titled "National Centre for Development of Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Processes for Clean Coal Technologies for Power Applications." The last date to submit applications is January 15, 2024. The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 42,000.

Project Duration:

The research program runs for nine months or until project completion, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates should possess a BE/BTech and ME/MTech degree in Metallurgical/Materials/Metallurgical and Materials/Mechanical Engineering.


• A minimum aggregate of 60% marks or a CGPA above 6.5, along with GATE qualification, is required.


• Applicants need at least two years of experience in mechanical testing of materials, with proficiency in data processing and analysis.

Preferred Skills:

Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience in Mechanical Metallurgy/Physical Metallurgy and expertise in various characterization techniques related to fatigue/creep-fatigue interaction and analysis.
