The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI) have formalized a unique collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This partnership aims to revolutionize research in the pursuit of sustainable mobility, aligning with Mercedes-Benz's ambitious goal for all upcoming vehicle models to achieve carbon neutrality across their life cycles and value chains by 2039.

In addition to promoting research exchanges, educational materials, and scientific publications, the collaboration will actively explore shared funding avenues for research papers. Moreover, it will foster an environment for intellectual property development, safeguarding, and sponsorship.
