Family make us feel secure, it gives us a feeling of having someone in life with whom you can share your problems etc. And also it means to have respect for each other and responsibility.

Every year on May 15, the International Day of Families is observed around the world to promote and celebrate the importance of families, societies, cultures and people. The Day was proclaimed in 1993 by the United Nations General Assembly. The objective of the Day is to increase the knowledge of the economic, demographic and social processes affecting families and to promote awareness regarding issues relating to the families.

International Day of Families does not only promote the importance of a well balanced and healthy family but also augment the knowledge of the economic, demographic and social processes that affect the families.

This is the time when the world is suffering from the most challenging crises that is Coronavirus. 2020 COVID-19 pandemic makes us understand the importance of families. As most of the people are spending time with their families.

You can have drawing, coloring or painting with young kids. You can bake a cake and can more decorate it with your family. You can do gardening at home with children, kitchen gardening is also very interesting. a bike with kids makes a lot of fun. Playing board games with children creates very joyful moments. Decorating your home or organizing your family photo album with help of family is so cute job.

A family serves as the first school to the child where one learns about various things such as one's culture, & values. In other words, children are a reflection of the family. All good manners and habits one has incorporated are from their family only.

We should be thankful as this day not only provides a great opportunity to express gratitude towards family but to value the sacrifices that have been made and the love that has always been showered.

Long live my family!

Happy Family day!
