World Environment Day is one of the most significant global events celebrated by millions on June 5. The World Environment Day event conducted by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) was first observed on June 5, 1973, and this year celebrates its 50th anniversary. The theme for World Environment Day 2023 will concentrate on ‘Solutions to Plastic Pollution’ under the movement #BeatPlasticPollution, promoting worldwide activism.
World Environment Day is an international campaign and a public outreach platform for all individuals around the globe. The global occasion of World Environment Day is enthusiastically observed by educational and non-educational organizations. Schools, Colleges organizes different competitions such as Dancing, Singing, Essays, and Speech, Painting contest for World Environment Day.
World Environment Day 2023 and 2023 theme is a reminder that actions performed by human beings on plastic pollution matter.
