International Tiger Day is celebrated on July 29 every year.It was created in 2010 at the Saint Petersburg Tiger Summit. The main aim of this day is to raise the cognizance to save the tiger among the people. Not only this, also to sort out the natural habitats issues.



The tiger belongs from the cat family. Its attractive orange color with black stripes makes it more unique.This day is celebrated so that the masses get aware of this issue and we can get more helping hands to save these tigers.



There are myriad of threats that the tigers are facing. Like extinction, hunting,poaching,conflict with humans and loss of habitat. On this day, we have to take some mandatory steps so that these wonderful creatures can live comfortably.There is a demand of tiger bones, skin and their body parts. This put detrimental effect on the population of tigers. As their skins are used for the decoration of homes. Furthermore, many medicines are made from their bones.It is indeed a concern issue.
