L’Oréal India is championing women's participation in science by announcing the opening of applications for the ‘For Young Women in Science’ Scholarship (FYWIS) 2023. This scholarship program aims to empower and support young women passionate about pursuing science-related undergraduate degrees.



Who Can Apply?




  • Female students who have secured at least 85 percent marks in their Class 12 board exams in PCM/PCB/PCMB during the academic year 2021-22 are eligible to apply.

  • Applicants should have successfully enrolled in a science-focused undergraduate program at any recognized college or university in India for the academic year 2022-23.

  • The scholarship is specifically tailored for students whose family income does not exceed Rs 6 lakh per annum.



Application Process



Interested candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can submit their applications through the official website, foryoungwomeninscience.co.in before January 7, 2024.



Selection Process



Upon initial screening, shortlisted candidates will undergo a telephonic interview. Subsequently, the selected candidates, accompanied by their parents, will be invited for a face-to-face interview with a distinguished panel comprising eminent scientists, academicians, and industry experts.



Flexibility in Interviews



Candidates have the flexibility to choose between in-person interviews at designated locations such as Mumbai, New Delhi/NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata or opt for a virtual interview.
