It is an international day which is celebrated on 18 July every year to celebrate the birthday of Nelson Mandela. The day was first celebrated on 18 July,2010. It is not celebrated as a public holiday. Nevertheless, it is a day to honour the work of Nelson Mandela.He fought against social justice for around 67 years. He sacrifice his whole life for the service of humanity. He is the first president of South Africa



Nelson Mandela was born on 18 July, 1918 in South Africa. He was a fabulous politician and philanthropist.The day motivates the people by “Take Action; Inspire Change; Make Every Day a Mandela Day.” Moreover, it is the responsibility of individuals to make the world a better place.



The first Mandela Day was celebrated in New York. This day encourages the pople to spread the peace as he always solve the conflicts in his life. Moreover, also promotes human rights and international democracy. On this day, people sort out the problems in their city or state if they find any kind of injustice. People also work in soup kitchens and try to make every day a Mandela Day.
