World Day for International Justice is also called International Criminal Justice Day. It is celebrated on July 17. The main motive of this day is to stop the crimes that becomes barrier in terms of peace and security of the whole globe. Furthermore, this day unites those people who are in favour of justice.



HISTORY BEHIND THIS DAY -



This day is the anniversary of Rome Statute in 1998. The International Criminal Court (ICC) was also established with the help of this day. In 1998, 139 nations have signed the Court's treaty. Not only this, every region of the globe have signed it.



WHY IT IS CELEBRATED???



The reason behind the celebration of this day is to spread cognizance among the people regarding the justice and also about the rights of the individuals.



Apart from this, this day also aware people to give attention to the serious problems. It also give protection to the people from many illegal activities. Also, it warns that denizen who create any violence in the nation.
