Adobe Collaborates with India's Education Ministry to Enhance Digital Literacy

Adobe, the global software giant has joined hands with India's Union Education Ministry, marking a pivotal moment in the country's educational landscape. This collaborative initiative aims to introduce an innovative curriculum and training program centered around Adobe Express in schools across India. The overarching ambition is to impact more than two crore students and empower half a million educators by 2027.



This momentous announcement was made by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan during the G-20 Leaders' Summit hosted in India. Minister Pradhan underscored the role this partnership will play in the digital age, driving new ideas, innovation, and creativity, ultimately setting a new standard for students.



It promises to transform India's education sector. K-12 schools nationwide will gain complimentary access to Adobe Express Premium as part of this collaboration. This initiative democratizes access to cutting-edge digital tools, making them available to a wider audience of learners.



Mala Sharma, Vice President and General Manager of Global Education and Adobe Express at Adobe, emphasized Adobe's unwavering commitment to digital literacy and education. She highlighted how this partnership aligns seamlessly with Adobe's longstanding dedication to empowering students, enabling them to make a meaningful impact on the world.

In addition to its partnership with the Ministry of Education, Adobe has teamed up with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This extended partnership aims to equip 75,000 faculty members across 10,000 higher education institutions with access to Adobe Express in 2022, reinforcing Adobe's role as a catalyst for educational advancement in India.
