The Chairman of AICTE Prof. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, on the occasion of AICTE Internship Day, launched the virtual internship program. The All India Council for Technical Education is offering the internships in collaboration with EduSkills and the Ministry of Education.

The AICTE is offering a total of 05 lakh internships to Engineering & polytechnics students. The scheme is being supported by Global Corporates such as Amazon Web Services, Blue Prism, Juniper Networks, Red Hat, Palo Alto Networks, and Celonis.

This scheme has been launched keeping in mind the vision of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the country. PM Modi plans to provide 01 crore internships in various skills by 2025.

This scheme will help in accelerating the incredible mission of empowering the youth of India with accurate and precise resources to support them in excelling in their career.

The aim of the program is to provide five lakh internships in different employable programmes developed and designed by global corporations. It will also provide an immersive and integrated learning environment for participating students so they can be equipped with first-hand experience and relevant skills in industrial surroundings under the professional guidance.

The internships will be provided by EduSkills in advanced technologies such as Cybersecurity, Cloud, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), AI (Artificial Intelligence), Linux Automation, Machine Learning, and Networking in association with their industry partners.

Prof Sahasrabudhe said, "Gyanam, Vigyanam, and Uddhmita make education complete". He added that these kind of internships are an absolute necessity in the current scenario as these initiatives could help in revolutionizing the Indian education sector in India.

Eligibility: The students from all branches & all year of Engineering colleges and Polytechnics are eligible for this internship opportunity.
