Amazon Chooses Miami University as Education Partner for Amazon's Career Choice Programme
Recently, Miami University announced it had been selected as an education partner for the Career Choice program by Amazon, providing hourly employees of Amazon access to a college degree or micro-credential at a less rate or no cost.

Recently, Miami University announced it had been selected as an education partner for the Career Choice program by Amazon, providing hourly employees of Amazon access to a college degree or micro-credential at a less rate or no cost.

He said we are enthusiastic to partner with Amazon and help their vision and our shared mission to cultivate a highly qualified, talented, and diverse workforce for this region and beyond.
Miami University’s open-enrollment regional areas deliver classes online and in Middletown, Hamilton, and West Chester.
Vice president and dean of Miami’s Regionals campuses, Ande Durojaiye, said with small class sizes, flexible scheduling, and many programmes delivered 100% online is uniquely set to partner with Amazon employees looking for a high-quality academic experience. Durojaiye added our programmes enable students to choose a programme that suits their lives and empowers them with the tools to thrive in their career, whether they want to gain a micro-credential in just a few weeks or study to achieve an associate's or bachelor's degree.
Global Program Lead of Amazon Career Choice programme Tammy Thieman said we are looking ahead to Miami University coming on board as an education associate for Career Choice, adding to the hundreds of best-in-class offerings open to our employees. Tammy said we are determined to empower our employees by offering them the education and training they require to grow their careers, whether that is with us or elsewhere.
We have intentionally formed a partner network of third-party educators and employers devoted to delivering excellent education, job placement resources, and continuous progress to the experience. Today, up to 80,000 Amazon employees across the globe have actively participated in Career Choice, and we have seen first-hand how it can change their lives, he added.
Founded in 1809, Miami University serves over 21,600 undergraduates across 120 fields of study and over 2,500 graduate students via 70 master’s and doctoral degree programmes. The university is an NCAA Division I school serving up to 500 student-athletes across 19 varsity sports.
