On Nov 20, the multinational eCommerce company Amazon is launching its leading leadership development program, AFBP (Amazon Future Builders Program), for students who have applied in premier business schools across India to train them for leadership roles at the company. The students enrolled in IIMs, XLRI, and ISB are also eligible to take part in the program.



The objective of the program is to allow students to gain a range of experience across the businesses of Amazon via a '02-month incubator' period which will be followed by 24 to 30 months period of domain expertise in particular LoBs (Lines of Business), as notified by the Amazon.



To supplement the in-depth experience of business, the opportunities will be provided via training, learning, networking, and mentorship. The program will be offered at top business schools across the nation from 2021.



The candidates who are interested in the program can contact their placement cells in their institutes. The selected candidates will be invited for an online assessment and interview round (Interview will be held via video/ phone). After completing this course, candidates will be starting with the AFBP incubator which will be for a 02-month period where they will learn about various Amazon businesses and their AWS, devices, consumer, operations, finance, and Prime Video. After completing this, the candidates will move towards to gain domain experience of 24 to 30 months.
