Dr. Saif Ullah Khan, a Faculty member from the department of Civil Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University, conferred about the importance and need for optimization in all engineering troubles and their applications in the lately carried international workshop at the Technical University of Hamburg (TUHH), Germany.

During the discussion, Dr. Khan presented his research outcome on the topic- Process Optimization using Central Composite Design for Chromate Removal in an Electrocoagulation Column Reactor at the Technical University of Hamburg. He reached on a full travel grant from (IGSTC) the Indo-German Science and Technology Centre.

The program also featured talks by renowned Indian and German scientists and academicians. Dr. Saif Ullah Khan specializes in water treatment with a point of convergence on the disposal of heavy metals from industrial wastewaters.
