Banaras Hindu University Welcomed 27 Member International Delegation
On Friday, January 27, 2023, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) welcomed a 27-member international delegation. The delegates included representatives from Argentina, Hungary, Canada, Botswana, Ukraine, Indonesia, and Japan. They also had six members from India.

On Friday, January 27, 2023, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) welcomed a 27-member international delegation. The delegates included representatives from Argentina, Hungary, Canada, Botswana, Ukraine, Indonesia, and Japan. They also had six members from India.
Coordinator of International Collaborations, Professor N V Chalapathi Rao, led an interactive meeting with the delegation on Banaras Hindu University- its legacy, its role in contributing to the country's growth, and the opportunities available.
The delegates showed interest in knowing more about the achievements and progress of Banaras Hindu University in various areas like innovation, interdisciplinary studies, research, etc. They also queried about the international students pursuing studies at BHU. The members expressed their desire to collaborate in diverse areas of mutual interest with the university shortly.
The visit under the Gen-Next Democracy Network Programme of the (ICCR)- Indian Council for Cultural Relations and upon the invitation of Vice-Chancellor Professor Sudhir K Jain comes as part of BHU’s international outreach.
Professor Sudhir K Jain has been laying significant focus on improving Banaras Hindu University’s international visibility and collaborations. The delegates comprised young members of political parties (both ruling and opposition), rising leaders in their respective nations, and entrepreneurs.
