Bhupesh Baghel, Chattisgarh State Chief Minister, presented the budget today. According to the announced budget, 101 new Atmanand English medium schools, four new medical colleges, and a Rs 19,489 crore budget for school education have been declared in the Chhattisgarh budget for 2023.
For schools, the state government has declared Rs 1,800 for chefs preparing mid-day meals in schools and Rs 2,800 for school sanitation employees. For medical education, the Baghel government has allotted Rs 945 crore for medical, physiotherapy, and dental colleges, Rs 697 cr for medical hospitals affiliated with medical colleges, Rs 235 cr for new medical institutes and buildings, Rs 168 cr for Ayurvedic hospitals, Rs 85 cr for integrated medical hospitals, Rs 40 cr for National Ayush Mission, Rs 34 cr for state cancer institute, and Rs 7.5 crore for e-medical hospitals.

- Chhattisgarh: Accelerated learning for a Knowledge-Economy Operation (CHALK) Scheme- Rs 400 crores
- Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan, RUSA- Rs 85 crore
- PM Shree Scheme- Rs 60 crore
