Metropolis Healthcare and DSEU collaborated and inaugurated four medical laboratories to offer students an opportunity to learn with the help of new-age equipment on the Dwarka campus. The four labs, set up are mainly for the students of the BSc Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. The programs bring into focus plenty of opportunities for students to develop skills in the area of allied medical science, particularly diagnostics.

Yesterday, Metropolis Healthcare and DSEU collaborated and inaugurated four medical laboratories to offer students an opportunity to learn with the help of new-age equipment on the Dwarka campus of the Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU).



The four labs, set up by Metropolis Healthcare under a collaboration with Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU), are mainly for the students of the BSc Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. The programs bring into focus plenty of opportunities for students to develop skills in the area of allied medical science, particularly diagnostics.



The Delhi Government said that Metropolis Healthcare contributed the equipment worth Rs 60 Lakh for setting up four fully-equipped laboratories at DSEUs Dwarka Campus. The partnership shall reap double benefits- ensure students have access to better, high-quality equipment throughout the program, which is currently operated across the diagnostic industry. DSEU had launched a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology in collaboration with Metropolis Healthcare Limited.



This program is among the 11 flagship degree programs that the skill varsity commenced in its first academic year- 2021. Metropolis Healthcare Limited, under its CSR- Corporate Social Responsibility, will be implementing this project with the DSEU will assist, grow, impart training, and secure industry-aligned career progression of the students.



Neharika Vohra, Vice Chancellor of DSEU, presented a vote of thanks to Metropolis Healthcare for its support in developing the program and stated that new laboratories would aid 360 students of the Dwarka campus across a three-year program. She said that they look forward to developing a secure place for the students to work on developing and boosting their skills in the Medical Lab Sciences area in a controlled, supervised environment.
