The Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, has introduced the 'Apna Chandrayaan' program, a significant initiative that aims to cultivate a scientific temper among school students. As part of this program, a dedicated web portal has been launched, featuring a range of activity-based educational materials.
These resources- coloring books, online quizzes, and jigsaw puzzles, are centered around India's Chandrayaan mission and have been thoughtfully developed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) to engage and educate school students.

Furthermore, the program encompasses ten specialized modules focused on Chandrayaan-3, providing a holistic understanding of various aspects of the moon mission, spanning scientific, technological, and societal dimensions. Dr. Sreedhara Panicker Somanath, Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Secretary of the Department of Space graced the launch of the program as the guest of honor.
These meticulously designed activity-based educational materials and Chandrayaan-3 modules aim to nurture scientific curiosity, problem-solving abilities, and creativity among school students. The Ministry of Education's statement highlights the program's objective of developing a scientific mindset and promoting exploration and innovation among the youth, aligning with the broader vision of education in India.
