Education Minister Releases NIRF Ranking 2022, IIT Madras Tops Again

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has released the NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) Ranking 2022 Edition -07 at a virtual event. The NIRF Ranking 2022 list has been released under different categories such as Medical, Engineering, Management, etc on the official website at nirfindia.org.
A total number of 7254 institutions participated in NIRF Ranking 2022 this year. The Ministry has also released the NIRF India Ranking 2022 pdf on the official website.
As per the NIRF ranking, the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras has once again topped in the overall category, followed by IISc Bengaluru on 2nd rank and IIT Bombay on 3rd rank. In 2018, the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru had topped. Miranda House College of Delhi University Miranda House has topped under the best college in India category.
IIT Madras has also been declared the Best Engineering Institution in India again.
