The Goa government has set aside Rs. 05 crore for the CM's Apprenticeship Training Scheme 2021 with an aim to provide employment, as notified by a senior official. The scheme was approved by the Goa Cabinet on Feb 17, 2021.

A senior official from the CMO also notified that the scheme will be implemented through the Goa Human Resources Development Corporation. He further added, "The state government will sign MoUs with private players to provide employment to the youths from Goa under this ambitious scheme".

Under this scheme, the aim of the state is to train 2500 youths within a year which will provide employment opportunity.The state will grant work experince to the youths to make them employable.

During the programmes, the state government will also pay the remuneration to each selected candidate and the duration of the programme will depend upon the kind of training the candidates has chosen.
