An application named 'localiti.io' has been developed by the alumni of the Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak along with alumni of the National Institute of Technology, Kurushetra. The app will send notifications and alerts to people between 18 to 44 age group regarding the vaccine slots.

Along with the vaccine slots, the app will also provide information about the location where they can get vaccinated. The app is a neighbourhood-based communication platform which will lessen the struggle of refreshing the platform repeatedly to check for updated slots.

The application was launched on May 01, 2021, and more than 10,000 people have already registered (up to May 06).

The team members include an alumnus of NIT and a former employee of YAHOO Partik Madaan; an ex-employee of Ixigo Bharat Bhushan, and an alumnus of IIM and NIT Prateek Singh.

The application is sourced from the Co-Win API portal on a real-time basis. Hence, one must register on the Co-Win portal before registering on the application.
