The Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology (IIST) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The Delft University of Technology. The MoU has been signed to carry out academic programmes and research activities.

The Union Cabinet chaired by PM Narendra Modi has also approved the MoU signed between these two institutions.

Under the MoU, the institutions will carry out Student Exchange Program at Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral level. The institution will discuss the area of studies and credits scheme to be pursued.

A Practicum Exchange programme will also be carried for the degree training that will follow the educational system of the hosting institute.

Both the institutions will also develop specialized Dual/ Double Degree Programme. Under this programme, the students studying in degree programmes will be able pursue UG/ PG courses as well by the home institute.

The institutions will also carry out the Faculty Exchange programme during which the faculties will be invited in partner institutes to offer courses for which the content will be developed jointly by both the institutions.

The aim of the Agreement is to provide momentum to explore the latest research activities and application possibilities in the stream of Science and Technology.
