IIT Kanpur Introduces Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2023 Talent Search Exam Brochure
Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2023 is a joint initiative involving Vijnana Bharati, the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), and the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM). The main goal of this exam is to spot and support scientific aptitude among students in Classes 6 to 11, no matter which educational board they follow.

The Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2023 initiative stems from a cooperative partnership involving Vijnana Bharati, the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), and the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM). This endeavor's central aim is to recognize and cultivate scientific potential within students from Classes 6 to 11, regardless of their educational affiliations.



On August 3, the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) unveiled the brochure for the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2023 scientific talent search examination. Students with keen interest can now take a step towards participation by registering for Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2023 on the official website - vvm.org.in. The registration process is open until September 15.



Students involved in Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2023-24 will be granted the privilege of training and internships that span one to three weeks at esteemed national research laboratories and institutions. Renowned entities like the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), and more will serve as platforms for the national (Himalayans) and regional victors. Recognizing their accomplishments, these winners will be granted a monthly scholarship of Rs 2,000. The national champion (Himalayans) will also undertake a project or activity for a year, with consistent evaluations to gauge their progress.



VVM 2023 promises a significant opportunity for 120 students from Uttar Pradesh to engage in the state-level camp. Of these participants, the top 18 achievers will be duly recognized with cash prizes amounting to Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000, and Rs 2,000, respectively. Among the state's contestants, the top 12 performers will progress to the national camp. Every individual taking part in the initiative will be honored with a certificate at the district level.



The forthcoming examination will take place on either October 29 or October 30. The Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) test will be of 90 minutes, during which participants will tackle a question paper comprising 100 application-based questions. The outcomes of this examination will be unveiled on November 10. Those keen to participate are required to submit a registration fee of Rs 200.
