Their shared vision involves the establishment of a research-driven medical college, the illustrious Dr. BC Roy Multi-Speciality Medical Research Centre (BCRMMRC), and a splendid hospital known as the Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Superspecialty Hospital (SPMSH), nestled within IIT-Kharagpur's campus at Kharagpur.

On this auspicious occasion, IIT Kharagpur's Director VK Tewari shared his excitement, expressing the commencement of outpatient services in the hospital's first phase, with in-patient services, including critical care, soon to follow.
