GUVI will collaborate on research to upgrade and upkeep ZEN Class- a placement-oriented programme and mentorship. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Ropar) will conduct experiments on learning, teaching, and modern pedagogies that lead to effective learning curves among learners.

GUVI delivers an online platform for learners to learn in their mother tongues and provides specialized IT courses in order to upskill students and make them ‘job ready’ online.

So far, the platform has upskilled up to 18 lakh learners worldwide via self-paced online courses and over 2,000 successful job placements. It delivers in-demand technology skills in the industry in local languages such as Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, and Bengali, besides English.

Head of the department of computer science, IIT Ropar, Sudarshan Iyengar, highlighted the unique elements of the collaboration. Iyengar said our laboratory has been specializing in online education-based technologies, and we were on the lookout for enforcing EdTech ideas on portals such as GUVI, which has accumulated more than 18 Lakh students. The collaboraGUVI- an edtech startup, is an IIT Madras & IIM Ahmedabad incubated company that develops candidates for IT (information technology) and software jobs via self-paced tech, career programmes, and other edtech services.tion aims to facilitate learning and teaching methods while qualitatively upscaling our relationship with GUVI.
