The International Journal of Engineering Applied Science and Technology (IJEAST) has published a research paper of Sooraj Parkash, an employee of Estudentbook and research scholar, on ''Performance Enhancement Of DWDM-FSO System Under Diverse Weather Conditions With Optimized Modulation Format'.

The paper demonstrates the comparison and investigation of 48 channels of dense wavelength division multiplexing free space optical (DWDM−FSO) network with a 10 GB/s data rate on each channel under a clear sky, haze and light rain climate conditions. Moreover, the comparison have been performed of a series of modulation formats such as return to zero (RZ), non−return to zero (NRZ), carrier suppressed return to zero (CSRZ), Soliton pulse, and offset quadrature phase shift keying (OQPSK) and the performance of the designed systems have been optimized with best suited modulated systems.

The authors of this research clearly fulfilled the demands of high channel spectrum and increased FSO link range up to 2 km with high data dates in Gbps by acceptable Bit Error Rate (BER) values and optimized signal to noise ratio (SNR).

Earlier, Sooraj Parkash's research paper titled 'Enhancing performance and optimization of multichannel bidirectional WDM-PON with hybrid optical amplifiers employing diverse post dispersion compensation schemes' had been published which demonstrated simulative comparison and investigation of 32 channels with 0.8 nm frequency spacing bidirectional wavelength division multiplexing passive optical network (WDM-PON).

Currently employed at Estudentbook, Sooraj Parkash has completed his Graduation in Electronics and Communication from Sant Baba Bhag Singh Institute Of Engineering And Technology – SBBSIET, Jalandhar and Post-graduation from CT Institute Of Technology And Research – CTITR, Jalandhar.

Sooraj Parkash co-authored this paper with Dinesh Kumar, an Admission Director at CT group of institutions, Jalandhar, who has completed his Graduation From LPU, Jalandhar and Post graduation from CT Institute of Technology and Research, Jalandhar and Amita Banga from Torrens University (Flinders Street Campus), Australia, who is pursuing her Master of Software Engineering in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (Advanced) from the University.
