It is stated by Mohandas Pai, Chairman, Manipal Global Education that there are adolescents whose parents are school trainers, bus conductors, working as a labor and some are businessmen. By this, the scholars face the differences on the basis of class, caste and religion. According to him, a school must show the diversity of the nation.

As per the data, almost half of the proportion of school children in India give preference to private schools. Not only this but their ratio of admission is experiencing an increment over the years. On the other hand, the list of admission in government schools has been declined to 50% from 75%.

Hence, it is the choice of parents that they are selecting private schools instead of government schools. The reason is that parents from the rich and poor families reckon that private schools have more good amenities for their children like a good environment, the latest teaching methods by using smart classes and many more.

However, the study shows that the teaching methods are not that good in private schools from the last few years. The ASER 2018 report concluded that 35% of private school students in grade 5 cannot read a basic grade 2 level paragraph. So, it becomes quite difficult for parents to choose a better school.
