Banaras Hindu University has commenced the application process for 'Malaviya Postdoctoral Fellowships'. The application process is open for Indian citizens, Foreign Nationals, PIO, and OCI category candidates.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the fellowship through the official website at bhu.ac.in. The application process will continue till June 17, 2022.

Eligibility: The candidates must have a Ph.D. from the top 500 institutions of the world along with an excellent academic record. The candidates having postdoctoral experience of 02 years can also apply.

Age Limit: The maximum age limit to apply for the fellowship is 35 years.

The Fellowship will continue for 02 years and can be extended to another 01 year based on a favorable evaluation. During the Fellowship, an amount of Rs 01 lakh/ month will also be provided to the candidate along with an additional research grant (annual) of Rs 03 lakh.

The initiative was introduced under the university's 'Institution of Eminence' status granted by the Government of India.

There are around 100 positions in all disciplines of Social Sciences, Sciences, Humanities, and other professional streams.
