On October 16, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will launch the Madhya Pradesh government's ambitious project to impart medical education in the Hindi language.

During a programme at Motilal Nehru stadium, Union Home Minister will introduce the Hindi syllabus of medical education.

The initiative aims to establish pride in one's mother tongue and is a milestone event to change the mindset of people. The programme will set an example and prove that specialised subjects can be taught in Hindu and not only in English.

Apart from medical education, nursing, and paramedical courses, engineering will also be taught in Hindi in the state in days to come.

The chief minister demanded to ensure the participation of a maximum number of people in the programme, particularly Hindi experts, as it aims to change the mindset of people toward the language.

The first volume of the book prepared by a team of experts for subjects such as biochemistry, anatomy, and physiology is prepared, and students in the MBBS first year will be given these books.

Experts have designed the textbooks in such a way that those studying MBBS in Hindi will not lag after completing the course, as they will learn all the technical and medical terms in English and Hindi.
