Sightsavers India Invites Applications for its India Fellowship Programme
The deadline to apply for India Fellowship Programme is June 30, 2023. Applicants or candidates will be notified whether they got selected for the programme or not through email by July, and the fellowship progamme will start in the month of August.

Sightsavers India- an association that aims to prevent avoidable blindness, is requesting applications for its India Fellowship Programme. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the fellowship programme by visiting the official website- indiafellowshipprogram.sightsaversindia.in.
The deadline to apply for India Fellowship Programme is June 30, 2023. Applicants or candidates will be notified whether they got selected for the programme or not through email by July, and the fellowship progamme will start in the month of August.
The 24-month extended programme will teach ophthalmologists at some of the top eye health institutes in the nation and use these talents and learning in real-world scenarios.
The fellowship programme seeks to groom young ophthalmologists and improve their outlooks on rural eye health. The fellows must follow a structured skill enhancement and mentoring procedure throughout the programme. It will include both clinical and surgical ophthalmology.
Candidates selected for the Sightsavers India Fellowship Programme will obtain training at top eye health institutes in Kolkata, Delhi, and Noida. The fellowship programme includes participation in community-based surveys, one-on-one clinical-surgical mentorship, and district posting. Fellows will get an allowance, international exposure, and a residential facility.
In order to apply, interested and eligible candidates must hold a postgraduate degree or diploma in ophthalmology (MS/ DNB/ DO) from a recognised institute in India and know about clinical ophthalmology.
