Tamil Nadu CM Launched 100 Mobile Laboratories to Foster Scientific Temperament
It aims to promote interest among the students of Classes 6 to 8 to learn more about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

On Monday, MK Stalin, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, launched an initiative to encourage scientific interest among school students.
The initiative is called Vanavil Mandram- Rainbow forum.
It aims to promote interest among the students of Classes 6 to 8 to learn more about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
The event, observed among others by Ministers K N Nehru, Thangam Thennarasu, Tiruchirappalli Mayor M Anpahagan, and Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, was inaugurated at the Pappakurichi Government Girls Higher Secondary school in Kattur.
Also, the Chief Minister launched 100 mobile science and mathematics laboratories on behalf school's Education department to foster the scientific spirit among students.
They would teach students science experiments and mathematics every month, with appropriate guidance, and show science tools created by students.
Vanavil Mandram scheme will be enforced at an estimated price of Rs. 25 crores to help 25 lakh students from government schools.
Afterward, the Chief Minister visited the classrooms where students conducted all of the science experiments under the guidance of the teachers and communicated with them.
Special training has been offered to teachers who had expressed interest in actively participating in the programme across the state to share the strategies they have used so far in teaching and deliver suggestions for continuous implementation.
Nearly 710 STEM facilitators have been chosen across Tamil Nadu to enforce this programme, and they will serve as mobile science and mathematics experimenters. Also, they will guide in performing simple science experiments for students of 6 to 8 standard.
