THE Rankings: IIT Delhi in the Top 50 of Times Higher Education Employability Rankings
A total of 44 countries have been mentioned in THE list. India, with seven institutes in the top 250, stands in 13th place in terms of the number of institutions, ahead of countries such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Sweden, and Italy.

IIT Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is the only Indian educational institute among the top 50 in the Global University Employability Rankings by (THE) Times Higher Education.



According to recruiters, the Global Employability University Ranking and Survey (GEURS) shows the world's top 250 universities for producing employable graduates.



Among Indian institutions, the Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru (IISc) is in second position (58), enhancing its ranking by three places, followed by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT-Bombay) at 72, improved from 97 in 2021. The latest Times Higher Education (THE) Rankings have five Indian educational institutes in the top 200 and seven in the top 250.



Except for IIT-Delhi, the remaining institutes improved their rankings, with IIT-Bombay doing so by 25 positions. IIM-Ahmedabad at 154 and IIT-Kharagpur at 155, the other two Indian institutions in the top 175, too, improved their rankings by eight and 15 places. The other Indian universities are Amity University at 225, Noida, and Bangalore University at 242.



Globally, the United States continues its superiority with four universities in the top five, led by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, California Institute of Technology, and Harvard University as the top three. There are 55 US universities in the top 250, followed by France with 18 universities and the UK with 14. Singapore, Japan, and the United Kingdom have one institute each in the top 10.
