UV Blaster - An Ultraviolet Disinfection Tower

An Ultraviolet Disinfection Tower, named 'UV Blaster', has been developed by the DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation) for chemical-free and rapid disinfection. The Blaster is useful for surface/ room having high-tech equipment, gadgets and computers in offices and laboratories. These types of equipment/ rooms are high infection-prone areas and are not suitable for chemical disinfectants. The Blaster can also be used for populated areas such as shopping malls, airports, factories, hotels and offices.



The Blaster was designed and developed by LASTEC (Laser Science & Technology Centre) along with New Age Instruments and Materials Private Limited.
