The Vishwakarma Institutes in Pune have recently signed an agreement with the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS): Midlands Midwest in Ireland in order As a part of the partnership, both institutions will organise study tours, cooperative R&D activities, design of courses, exchange of students and academic personnel, joint degree and summer school programmes, symposia, and educational programmes.to deliver learning opportunities for students and encourage academic research.

Moreover, the two institutes will partner on research activities and exchange academic or scientific material or publications.

Vice President International, TUS Donnacha McNamara, and Managing Trustee, Vishwakarma Institutes, Bharat Agarwal, signed the agreement. The agreement will also be applicable to the institutions run by Basilal Ramnath Agarwal Charitable Trust of Pune.

McNamara stated that Intra-institute collaborations are a critical aspect of TUS’s internationalization purposes. This signing with Vishwakarma Institutes is an exciting launchpad for additional collaboration in various arenas, including the mobility of students, staff, and researchers. We look ahead to cooperation and development with the team at Vishwakarma Institutes to further the internationalization goals for both institutions.

Agarwal said we have to give all kinds of experiences and exposure to our students at Vishwakarma Institutes. The collaboration with TUS would allow our students to pursue internships and PG programmes at TUS, which would help them.
