NMC Permits Indian students from Ukrainian Universities Achieve Their Medical Degrees in Other Countries

Indian medical students who had returned from war-ravaged Ukraine will now be allowed to resettle or migrate to universities in other countries and achieve their medical degrees. The official notice from NMC read that the degree will be awarded by the parent Ukrainian university. The Commission thus shares its no-objection for academic mobility programme in respect of Indian medical students studying in Ukraine provided that other criteria of Screening Test Regulations 2002 are fulfilled.

In Three Years, Andhra Pradesh Govt Spent Rs 53,000 cr on Education Sector, says CM

Ranjitsinh Disale, won the Global Teacher Prize 2020 along with the prize money of $1 million. The quality that sets him apart from the other winners is that he shared the prize money equally with the nine other teachers who made it to the top 10. The prize money he won is being used to construct digital classrooms in Nigeria, libraries in Vietnam, two scholarship schemes for 20 eligible students in USA and Italy, and a project in order to promote education for specially-abled students in Brazil.

From Next Year, Super 30 Will Intake 100 Students from Across the Country

Arvind Kejriwal Inaugurated First School That will Train Students for Armed Forces

UGC Simplifies the Distance Learning Guidelines for International Students with Expired Passports

Before, international students had to mandatorily produce their passports for identification to register themselves with any Indian university. The UGC has amended the Open and Distance Learning Programmes and Online Programme guidelines. This amendment opens the gateway for international students to enroll at Indian universities easily and allows those with expired passports to enroll at Indian universities via the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

LG Inaugurates Numerous Essential Endeavors in the Education Sector of J&K

The Lt Governor inaugurated 110 civil works, including 84 school buildings and other infrastructures. He applied the foundation for sports infrastructure in 100 schools and two residential schools for tribal students, one each in Rajouri and Shopian, and NIELIT courses for classes 6th to 12th. Manoj also launched a Mentorship Program and the TALAASH App for the current 93,508 recognized out-of-school children.
