NMC Permits Indian students from Ukrainian Universities Achieve Their Medical Degrees in Other CountriesIndian medical students who had returned from war-ravaged Ukraine will now be allowed to resettle or migrate to universities in other countries and achieve their medical degrees. The official notice from NMC read that the degree will be awarded by the parent Ukrainian university. The Commission thus shares its no-objection for academic mobility programme in respect of Indian medical students studying in Ukraine provided that other criteria of Screening Test Regulations 2002 are fulfilled.

In Three Years, Andhra Pradesh Govt Spent Rs 53,000 cr on Education Sector, says CMChief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy informed that the Andhra Pradesh government spent Rs 53,000 crore under various schemes during the last three years. He stated that his government had given top priority to the education sector, and the various reforms conducted are to prepare the students to face the competitive world they would be entering.

PM MODI: PM-SHRI Schools To have a Modern, Transformational, & Holistic Approach to Imparting EducationPrime Minister Narendra Modi said that around 14,500 schools across the country would be built and upgraded under the Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India (PM-SHRI) Yojana. Narendra Modi informed that the PM-SHRI schools would have a contemporary, transformational, and holistic approach to imparting education.

SuperTeacher & Global Teacher Prize Winner, Ranjitsinh Starts Global Educational InitiativesRanjitsinh Disale, won the Global Teacher Prize 2020 along with the prize money of $1 million. The quality that sets him apart from the other winners is that he shared the prize money equally with the nine other teachers who made it to the top 10. The prize money he won is being used to construct digital classrooms in Nigeria, libraries in Vietnam, two scholarship schemes for 20 eligible students in USA and Italy, and a project in order to promote education for specially-abled students in Brazil.

From Next Year, Super 30 Will Intake 100 Students from Across the Countrystudents from across the country will be able to reserve admission seats in Super 30, which is well known for grooming students from underprivileged sections of society in Bihar for the prestigious IITs with a tremendous success rate. The intake in the pioneering programme by mathematics wizard Anand Kumar will also be hiked from 30 to 100 by next year.

Arvind Kejriwal Inaugurated First School That will Train Students for Armed ForcesOn Saturday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated the first school in Delhi in order to train students for the armed forces. He stated that naming the school after Shaheed Bhagat Singh was a well-thought decision as he sacrificed his life at a very young age of 23 by getting hanged. In today’s time, boys are looking for a girlfriend or a job at 23.

Reliance Foundation To Launch New School & Give Benefits To Children, says Isha AmbaniIsha Ambani said they welcomed the first batch of 120 students last month for postgraduate programmes in various categories such as Artificial Intelligence, Digital Marketing, and Data Science. She added this year Reliance would scale up its efforts to support Early Childhood Care and Education to aid millions of children, especially from unprivileged areas.

Reliance Foundation & Vital Voices Join Hands to Launch Women Lead India FellowshipReliance Foundation and Vital Voices Global Partnership have established the WomenLead India Fellowship, which aims to be a system of support for women leaders in India who are taking on the world's considerable challenges. WomenLead is a 10-month-long fellowship programme. Interested candidates can register for the programme by October 3.

Cornell University and OP Jindal Global University have signed an MoA (memorandum of agreement) to facilitate both universities to build substantive collaborations and partnerships across all their schools and programmes.

UGC Simplifies the Distance Learning Guidelines for International Students with Expired PassportsBefore, international students had to mandatorily produce their passports for identification to register themselves with any Indian university. The UGC has amended the Open and Distance Learning Programmes and Online Programme guidelines. This amendment opens the gateway for international students to enroll at Indian universities easily and allows those with expired passports to enroll at Indian universities via the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

Dr. VinaySahasrabuddhe, and Shri Kumar Tuhin inaugurated the Centre. Dr. Aditya Kolachana is the Principal Investigator of the Centre. Professor Rengaswamy and Kumar Tuhin signed an MoU standardized partnership between IIT Madras and ICCR.

LG Inaugurates Numerous Essential Endeavors in the Education Sector of J&KThe Lt Governor inaugurated 110 civil works, including 84 school buildings and other infrastructures. He applied the foundation for sports infrastructure in 100 schools and two residential schools for tribal students, one each in Rajouri and Shopian, and NIELIT courses for classes 6th to 12th. Manoj also launched a Mentorship Program and the TALAASH App for the current 93,508 recognized out-of-school children.
