The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras is inviting applications for BSc in Programming and Data Science course. The candidates who wish to apply for this programme can visit the official website at onlinedegree.iitm.ac.in.

The application process has already started and will continue till April 20 for the May term.

The students of Class 11 and Class 12 are also eligible to apply for IIT Madras' BSc programme. Moreover, college students, working professionals, and the ones who are taking a career break can also apply.

The candidates will go through 04 weeks of training, that will include video lectures, discussion forum, weekly assignments, and live interactions with course instructors and professors. After completing the 04 -week long training, the candidates will be asked to attempt the qualifier examination in person which will be based only on the 04 weeks of content. The qualified candidates will be allowed to join the BSc in Programming and Data Science in foundation level.

The students who have qualified for the JEE Advanced 2021, can directly join the programme in May 2022.

The University has also announced the unlimited number of seats.

For the convenience of students, the University will release the weekly content on a portal for anytime access. However, the candidates must attend the examinations in person at designated centres.
