The first mega Research & Development Fair: IInvenTiv of all the 23 IITs from October 14-15, 2022For the first time in history, all the 23 IITs of the country will come jointly for a mega Research & Development Fair to be carried out from October 14-15, 2022, at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) premises. The R&D Fair- being carried out in remembrance of the 75th year of India’s Independence in line with the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative. It will display projects on various domains covering climate change, rural agriculture, sustainability, affordable healthcare, drone technology, etc.

Mahindra Education Trust Appeal Applications For The Mahindra All India Talent Scholarships 2022KCMET is asking for applications for its annual MAITS Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship in order to encourage and support students from low-income households who desire to seek a job-oriented Diploma course from identified Government Polytechnic Institutes in India. A scholarship award of Rs. 10,000/- per annum is given to 550 students every year for a maximum period of 3 years.

Samsung India Launched ‘Samsung Innovation Campus’ with ESSCI to Skill Youth To Develop Opportunities for Jobs in Future TechThe programme aims to upskill more than 3,000 unemployed youth from 18-25 years of age in future technologies and improve their employability in the pilot phase. Samsung Innovation Campus in India will develop industry-relevant talents and job opportunities for youth in future technological areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, Coding and Programming, and the Internet of things.

NCBI Suggests Education Advancements For Blind Or Visually Impaired StudentsPrefacing the report, NCBI expresses that a recent AHEAD report indicates that only 282 visually impaired students were registered with disability support services in colleges in 2020/2021, while only 24 percent of visually impaired people in Ireland have jobs or are employed.

Foreign Education Scheme Offers Wings To Tribal Learners in KeralaSC/ST Welfare Minister K Radhakrishnan said that we executed several schemes in the past 50 years for the exhilaration of SC/ST students. They can compete with other communities only with the help of good education and jobs. He informed only 62 students had profited from the foreign education scheme until 2021. However, in the past 18 months, we delivered Rs 25 lakh each to 250 students, 15 of whom belong to ST.

Services of Education Providers Will Be Regularised in 3 months, says Punjab Education MinisterPunjab school education minister Harjot Singh Bains stated that the state government would complete the procedure to regularise the services of education providers in three months. Bains added that the Punjab state was dedicated to the welfare of the employees, and this has been clearly proved with the decision to regularise the services of more than 8,700 teachers on Teacher’s Day.

Assam Govt Will Appoint over 4,700 people in Education Dept on September 23.Education Minister Ranoj Pegu stated that appointment letters for 4,717 posts in his department would be handed over during the function on Friday. He told reporters that most of these posts are of teachers from school to college levels. Apart from teachers, vacancies in other job positions will also be filled up during the exercise.
