India's First Bharat Biotech's Intra-nasal COVID Vaccine Got Emergency Use ApprovalHealth Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted that Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has approved Bharat Biotech's ChAd36-SARS-CoV-S COVID-19 (Chimpanzee Adenovirus Vectored) recombinant nasal vaccine for primary immunization against COVID-19 in the 18+ age group for provincial use in emergencies. This vaccine is India’s first intranasal vaccine for COVID-19.

Exams, Results, & Studies Primary Cause of Anxiety According to Survey Conducted by NCERTNational Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) informed that according to a survey on mental health and well-being of students, more than 33 percent comply with peer pressure most of the time. The survey says that at least 73 percent of students are happy and satisfied with their school life, while over 45 percent of students are not satisfied with their body image.

In Three Years, Andhra Pradesh Govt Spent Rs 53,000 cr on Education Sector, says CMChief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy informed that the Andhra Pradesh government spent Rs 53,000 crore under various schemes during the last three years. He stated that his government had given top priority to the education sector, and the various reforms conducted are to prepare the students to face the competitive world they would be entering.

RedSeer Forecasts Projects 1.8 Million Indian Students Abroad by 2024A 2021 analysis by RedSeer Strategy Consultants tracks the rapid growth in Indian outbound via 2019, at which point nearly 800,000 students were studying abroad. That whole is projected to more than double again by 2024 to reach up to 1.8 million outbound students, with total spending prediction at between US$75-US$85 billion by that point (a spending overlook that reflects expected inflation in tuition fees as well as living expenditures).

98 Million Sub-Saharan African Children Out-of-Schools Due to Lack of Access to Educationthe director-general of UNESCO, stated that we require a global mobilization to place education at the top of the international agenda. The rate of females out of school in sub-Saharan Africa is 4.2 percent higher than that of males. Inequalities in access to education hold 20.2 million children in Nigeria out of school, followed by Ethiopia with 10.5 million and the Democratic Republic of Congo with 5.9 million.

SuperTeacher & Global Teacher Prize Winner, Ranjitsinh Starts Global Educational InitiativesRanjitsinh Disale, won the Global Teacher Prize 2020 along with the prize money of $1 million. The quality that sets him apart from the other winners is that he shared the prize money equally with the nine other teachers who made it to the top 10. The prize money he won is being used to construct digital classrooms in Nigeria, libraries in Vietnam, two scholarship schemes for 20 eligible students in USA and Italy, and a project in order to promote education for specially-abled students in Brazil.

Delhi Govt-Run Technical Education Institutes: Who All Are eligible for 85% Admission Quota?Section 12(1)(b) of this Act expresses that 85% of the total seats are to be allotted for Delhi students, except for management seats, and the remaining 15% seats for the outside Delhi students or such additional allocation as the government might by notification in the official Gazette direct. A student from Delhi who passed Class 12 from a Gurgaon school had made a request that Delhi residents who passed their qualifying examination within the National Capital Region should not be knocked down from the benefit of reservation.

India & South Africa To Join Hands To Set Up a Joint Working Education GroupUnion Education and Skill Development Minister Dharmendra Pradhan conducted a bilateral meeting in Bali with South Africa Minister of Higher Education, Science Innovation Dr. Bonginkosi Emmanuel Blade NZIMANDE. An Education Ministry release said that the ministers agreed to create institutional mechanisms for tie-ups between higher education institutions and skill institutions, capacity-building in skill development, and mutual recognition of skill qualifications.
