India's First Bharat Biotech's Intra-nasal COVID Vaccine Got Emergency Use Approval

Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted that Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has approved Bharat Biotech's ChAd36-SARS-CoV-S COVID-19 (Chimpanzee Adenovirus Vectored) recombinant nasal vaccine for primary immunization against COVID-19 in the 18+ age group for provincial use in emergencies. This vaccine is India’s first intranasal vaccine for COVID-19.

RedSeer Forecasts Projects 1.8 Million Indian Students Abroad by 2024

A 2021 analysis by RedSeer Strategy Consultants tracks the rapid growth in Indian outbound via 2019, at which point nearly 800,000 students were studying abroad. That whole is projected to more than double again by 2024 to reach up to 1.8 million outbound students, with total spending prediction at between US$75-US$85 billion by that point (a spending overlook that reflects expected inflation in tuition fees as well as living expenditures).

SuperTeacher & Global Teacher Prize Winner, Ranjitsinh Starts Global Educational Initiatives

Ranjitsinh Disale, won the Global Teacher Prize 2020 along with the prize money of $1 million. The quality that sets him apart from the other winners is that he shared the prize money equally with the nine other teachers who made it to the top 10. The prize money he won is being used to construct digital classrooms in Nigeria, libraries in Vietnam, two scholarship schemes for 20 eligible students in USA and Italy, and a project in order to promote education for specially-abled students in Brazil.
